We live in homes that we personalize and set-up for our own convenience. A friend has a great sign in her home, "If you've come to see me, drop in anytime. If you've come to see my home, make an appointment." Judy would change the "make an appointment" to "don't bother". Our friends know and love us for who we are, not how we decorate our homes.

As a general rule, our friends don't buy our homes. They buy a vision of their life in a home. New home builders have known this for years and is why they have professional designers and spend countless thousands of dollars on model homes. New homes also come with warranties and other incentives.

Everyone can benefit from a Certified Staging Professional's opinion. They specialize in turning a home into a marketable commodity. Not all Interior Designers are Stagers, since their focus is the reverse - turning a marketable commodity into a home.
