Get a C.L.U.E.!
Home Seller's Disclosure Report
Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange
A database featuring loss information submitted by insurance companies. The C.L.U.E. report provides a 5-year history of losses that have been filed against insurance policies covering a specific property.
If you are selling your home, your listing agent will likely have you provide a C.L.U.E. report as part of your disclosure package. Ask your insurance agent if they have a report; otherwise, obtain a copy of the C.L.U.E. Home Seller's Disclosure Report from ChoicePoint and it will not show your personal information, just information on the home.
Buyers, the C.L.U.E. Home Seller's Disclosure Report can be ordered only by home sellers, so be sure to ask for a copy during the inspection period.
